**Snow Fun**

Yes, we are one of those families that actually looks forward to the snow!  A few days ago we had a decent showing of the fluffy white stuff.  It was the perfect kind to play in, which also means a little harder for shoveling (but that's Jason's job).  Gavin LOVES the snow!!  He didn't have any gloves, but it didn't bother him.  He played out in the freezing cold and snowy weather for over an hour.  He was a really good helper for daddy and shoveling too.  All work is no fun though, they made sure to make time for a snowball fight, building a snowman, followed up by a warm glass of Ovaltine.

Our Christmas Season

Our Christmas cheer in the month of December!  Hope you had a wonderful holiday and Happy New Year.  love, The Hendricks

Gavin Quotes

Gavin is the little performer of the family.  He has an amazing memory; he can recite almost any movie or song after he's seen it only once or twice.  The latest funny Gavin quote is from Toy Story #2, quoting Barbie.  If you can't recall this part of the movie, check out the credits at the end :)

One vs One

We just went in for our big boy one year checkup.  Liam's physical abilities far exceed a typical one year old.  He walks (and runs) very well.  He climbs, plays, dances, and more.  He comprehends a lot of what we are saying and communicates very well - without even saying a word.  He is protesting sign language, but uses Liam language to communicate.  It works for now.  It is so fun to watch the boys grow together.  They are playing so well now that Liam can hold his own, and it appears Gavin is THRILLED to have his brother as a playmate!

1 Year Stats
	Liam	Gavin
Height	29.5	30.5
Weight	21	24.13
Head	18.5	18.5

Looks like their head to head (ha ha) in the smarts category - same amount of brains working in those little bitty heads of theirs!

Happy Birthday Liam!!

365 days ago, out little peanut joined the Hendricks family...365 days later we couldn't be happier.  Liam can light up even the gloomiest of days with his infectious smile.  Such a happy boy that loves everyone and everything in his life.  We all wish you a very, very Happy First Birthday Liam!
Love, Mommy, Daddy, and Gavin

Trimming Time

We got it up before Christmas!  It was really fun this year with Gavin helping.  He was very interested in an elf/camera ornament...kept pretending to take pictures.  Liam was just happy to be part of the trimming.

What its all about

We did something new this year to give back to our community.  More than likely this will be a tradition for years to come.  Homemade spaghetti sauce, meatballs, and pasta.  We made 3 large batches to give to the fire station around the corner from our house (3 shifts of guys).  It was a win, win for everyone - the firemen were so grateful and they let Gavin play in the firetrucks for at least 1/2 hour.  They said to come by anytime and we didn't always have to bring food.

How have you given this season?  Share your ideas!!

Breakfast with Santa

Believe it or not this is Liam's first Christmas.  Because it's almost been a year it seems hard to believe, but little guy wasn't here until 2 days after Christmas last year.  So his first Santa lap visit was a success, no screaming or crying, just a bit curious about that white beard.

 Donuts? Daddy wasn't watching!

A little dancing and play time in the gym

 Sleigh ride

Where's the snow?

We believe!

Renfrow Christmas

Today we celebrated Christmas with our good friends the Renfrows.  We are so happy to finally be near them.
