Sunday Breakfast at Joe's

We went to breakfast with our Chandler friends today. Good thing our friends like to take pictures otherwise I don't think mom & GSH would have any pictures together.

Pillow Cases

Today was the neighbor's 3 year old birthday party. GSH's first party - it was so exciting. We made her pillow cases on the new sewing machine. Fun project and we're going to add it to the collection on the Cute As A Button website.

Olympia Visit

Another plane ride from Spokane to Olympia. This time mom was all alone at the airport. GSH was the perfect baby once again. So far he makes traveling easy.

Auntie B picked us up at the Seattle airport and we headed to Olympia to meet Great Grandma.
It was a great visit with some GREAT family members. We are all looking forward to Great Grandma and Cousin G coming down in September for a visit.

Spokane Visit

We took our first vacation to Spokane. The plane ride was great and GSH was a champ; he slept almost the entire 2 1/2 hour ride - waking up for a little snack.
Once in Spokane we went to Grandma & Grandpa's for the night prior to heading up to the Pig Roast.

At the Pig Roast Dad & GSH spent some quality time together on Saturday. Yes this is what they did almost all day.

GSH was chillin' - getting ready for the Pig to come out. He had a great time on Saturday night and really enjoyed meeting all his friends and family in Spokane.

Auntie and GSH got some quality time together. PEACE!!

Quality time with Grandma & Grandpa the few days following the Pig Roast. I think GSH and Grandpa may have spent a little too much time together - they look like twins.

We look forward to seeing our Spokane family again soon!!

Tomorrow is my first plane ride to Spokane. I am so excited, can you see it in my face? I get to meet the rest of my family...I can barely wait!

My Doctor

Thanks to Dr. Reuss and the AMAZING staff (nurses, techs, food people, everyone!) at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn for a successful delivery. The Hendricks family appreciates each and every one of you!

Walking

Finally we were able to get our feet moving - cabin fever was starting to set in. GSH and mom went for a 3 mile walk today. We walked to Walgreens to buy some birthday cards to get in the mail. GSH is a little small for the stroller, mom will have to work with it a little to see if we can get a more snug fit.
Besides that...I think we may have a future Iron Man on our hands!

Wet Nurse

Thinking of changing careers...my closest girlfriends and mother have suggested wet nurse...you can look it up on Wikipedia (I had to). Without too many details, this is just one bottle from one side - after GSH already ate - whew. I come from good genes!!

Holy crapping baby Batman!
This morning GSH took mom right out of her A-game. On the ball was NOT what happened for diaper changing. We've heard of projectile vomitting, but not projectile pooping. GSH taught mom something new today. Diaper change this morning he decided to pee all over while she was letting him 'hang out' - no biggie, a little pee never hurt anyone. Then before she could get the diaper on he pooped...not just once, but twice. The second one actually reached the end of the changing table and started running down the changing pad to the table. WOW!!! Good thing Grandma was close by to help with the mess. We decided pictures weren't neccessary for this post :-)

Dad Rocks!

My Dad is so cool, I can't wait to grow up and be just like him. Mom won't let me though, she just wants me to stay little...little...little.

The Hendricks House Settles into a Routine
