Queen Creek Olive Mill Picnic

Sunday we went and had a picnic and one of our favorite local hangouts. The Queen Creek Olive Mill. We actually packed our own lunch and bought and appetizer and drinks from the restaurant. What a gorgeous day; and what a fun time as a family! This was the same day we were taking pictures earlier in the day (previous post), just couldn't get enough of Gavin - he was so fun and so cute. I had to clarify because my sister thinks I only have one outfit for Gavin...because he's always in it when I post pictures. What can I say...he is our little Superman!!
Funny face! This is a new expression from G, he squishes his face and laughs-makes us laugh too.
Also something new, the pure concentration tongue.
See...I told you...he is Superman Jr.!!
Thinking about lunch? Or maybe poopy diaper? Ah no, he was watching the other kids play.

Too cool for school - and yes standing, even on his own for several seconds.

Fun with the Camera

He's growing and changing so much each and every day. We found ourselves taking 50+ pictures in just 2 days. He had us in stitches on Sunday, his smiles and other funny faces had us all laughing so hard we were crying.

Easter Egg Hunt

We all had a lot of fun! Living in Arizona has it's perks, hunting for eggs in the middle of a grass field in the sun - oh it was lovely! Gavin played nicely with the other kids and did manage to go home with some eggs too. We had so much fun with him! Can't wait to see what the Easter Bunny brings next weekend!!

Skirts & Shirts

Seville's 1st Annual Skirts & Shirts 5K was Saturday 3/13. The neighborhood running club that Barb heads up put it on. The ladies get a 3 minute head start before the guys. We were really happy with the turnout.

Our #1 Fan cheering us on!
PS - Barb was able to beat Jason...barely, but a win is still a win!!

Official Birthday Party Invite

Gavin was invited to his first 'friends' birthday party. So it was a princess party for the 3 year old down the street - he still had fun! The Cinderella that showed up freaked him out a little bit, and he didn't get any cake. But he really liked the putting green and golf balls.

1st Pair of Shoes

How can something so little be so expensive? $45 for his first pair of shoes...oh wait you say you have a sale rack, but the shoes are an ugly color? We'll take it! None of us are in love with the cute factor on these shoes, but until he can fit into his 1st Nike's (thank you Crissa) these will have to do. Gavin loves standing, even though he can't do it on his own yet - he loves it. The shoes are the first step to mom & dad losing their freedom!!

[**So BIG**]

Gavin decided he was a big boy this weekend. He pulled himself up in the crib and stood there for 10 minutes or more...laughing, smiling, giggling, bouncing, he thought he was pretty cool. Of course we all stood there laughing right back at him - so much for not encouraging him. Needless to say the railing on the crib has now been moved up. Soon the bumper will come out so he doesn't use it as a tool to escape from the crib.
