Roly Poly

Check out Gavin rolling for the first time (you have to have Quicktime to view, an option to download it for free will pop up if you want to install it):

Big Boy

Growing up so fast, what happened to our little baby? (ok we wasn't ever little) This was Gavin's first grocery cart ride (without the car seat). He loved it. Of course I gave it a massive rub down with anti-bacterial wipes before I put him in there. Project this month = making one of those grocery cart fabric covers.
He's sitting up so big now, he loves to sit up and play with his toys. On Monday 1/11 he rolled over for the first time from back to tummy at daycare. Tues/Wed/Thurs have been rolling festivals at the house in the evenings. He's so funny.

Learning How to Kiss

He's so stinking cute and he loves giving kisses; even to his stinky sweaty mommy.

Historic Downtown Chandler

Our friend Samara also came on the tour and afterwards we went to dinner at the Urban Tea Loft. Which is the coolest tea store I've ever been in and they have delicious food too. I had such a great time with Sam (not just saying that because she'll read this either). It was nice to be home and do normal things in the normal people that don't travel do. Another New Year's resolution - take advantage of the time we're home and get out in our community more. AZ is a cool place and we have lots to learn about it. We have wonderful friends that live here and we need to try to do more things with them.Welcome to The Urban Tea Loft

Relax your soul and warm your spirit in our intimate tearoom in the heart of Historic Downtown Chandler. Whether you are simply seeking a relaxing cup of premium tea, or an upscale venue with delicious food and the finest tea to host your next important gathering, The Urban Tea Loft is a unique tea experience that will capture your senses. Come in, make yourself at home and let us indulge your palate.

Auntie Visits

Auntie Betsy came to visit for the New Year's holiday break. We had 5 wonderful days with her. She started her New Year's work out by helping carry Gavin around - I think her arm muscles are already bigger. Gavin loved having her here (ok Barb & Jason did too!), we miss her already. Had a couple of pee your pants moments in the kitchen, where I might add sister is seriously challenged. But we had a great time and can't wait to have her come down again.
