Tummy Time = Crabby Time

Liam does NOT like tummy time quite like Gavin did.  He does however love to hold up his head and sit up.  So he's getting plenty of exercise and strengthening his neck muscles, just not on his tummy.  Check out the grip he has on the blanket - he was not a happy camper.

Fun with Friends

Thanks to Hilarie for babysitting so Barb could get her haircut.  The boys loved playing with Jayden and Avery.  Gavin talks about Avery all the time - hope we get a couple more play dates in before we leave.
I think Jayden needs a baby brother!! :)
Gavin made the kids play rock band with him, so cute!

Ragnar Del Sol

Have you ever heard of a Ragnar race?  The Arizona version is a 200 mile race from Wickenburg, AZ to Tempe, AZ.  We had a team of 12 runners, each running 3 legs over the course of 36 hours.  In short it was a LOT of fun, but there was also a lot of sweat, no sleep, snacks not meals, long rides in a van involved to complete the race.  We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Olathe, KS...soon to be our new home town

We've often said 'someday we'll move to Kansas'.  Well someday is here.  Last fall our company notified us that they would like us to relocate sometime in 2012.  With the new baby and our hectic work schedules they were willing to be flexible on the timing.  We started shopping for houses on-line during the winter months, and made our first visits in February.  Jason found the winner.  We're having a brand new house built...Hendricks style!  The home was already up and partially finished inside; now all we have to do is draw up the plans for the basement and pick out our finishes for the rest of the house.  We'll have many more details to follow, but as of February this is what our house looks like.  This week Barb is back in Kansas for work and to check on the progress.
We are so excited for this next phase of the Hendricks adventures.  Living in Kansas will provide new opportunities at work for both Jason and Barb, but more importantly it will cut down on our travel and allow for improved home life.  We are one lucky family!

The official move is scheduled for the first 2 weeks of May.

Spokane Visit - Photos

The slide show was fun, but not the best quality pictures.  Here are a few of our favorites.  Looking forward to our visit in May for Bloomsday, Andy's graduation, and 2 weeks with grandma and grandpa.

First Plane Ride

We don't mess around at this house!  Just over a month old and already on a plane.  Mr. Liam, you better get used to this lifestyle - we're on the go, go, go, go!!
You were a perfect baby on the plane; everyone adored you.  We got lucky and had an extra seat so you had some leg room.

Liam's first trip to Kansas.  Of course it was snowing (they haven't had snow all year until we show up).  Didn't bother him one bit.  He spent a few days with Nana Diane and as you can see loved every minute of the trip.
