Rain, rain...come again!

Oh what fun!  Saturday night we had a big thunderstorm, lighting, thunder, and TONS OF RAIN!  The temperature outside was pretty warm, and mother nature was putting on quite a show.  We stood on the porch for a while, but it was just too tempting for the boys.  Even the little princess dabbled in the puddles a little bit, but she didn't like the rain drops.  By the end of the showers the boys were body surfing on the grass and driveway.  Boys will be boys.

Well the cold and snow don't stop us from having fun outside.  The snow is all melted now, we're hoping for a more before winter is over.

 Fun in the cold and snow wouldn't be complete without following it up with WARM chocolate and blanket cuddles on the couch.  Snug as a bug in a rug (as Gavin would say).

**Snow Fun**

Yes, we are one of those families that actually looks forward to the snow!  A few days ago we had a decent showing of the fluffy white stuff.  It was the perfect kind to play in, which also means a little harder for shoveling (but that's Jason's job).  Gavin LOVES the snow!!  He didn't have any gloves, but it didn't bother him.  He played out in the freezing cold and snowy weather for over an hour.  He was a really good helper for daddy and shoveling too.  All work is no fun though, they made sure to make time for a snowball fight, building a snowman, followed up by a warm glass of Ovaltine.

  

It's Fall!

It rained today, how beautiful is this? I looked outside to see how hard it was raining, and there it was. Pretty cool - not too often you get to see a full arched rainbow.

It made me smile, I hope it makes you smile too!!
