Teaching him young! Jason and I are firm believers in philanthropy of any kind; our goal is that our children will have the same strong value. So we entered Gavin into his first charity run/walk. Sunday was the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Patti, Gavin, and Barb all walked the 5K and Jason came out to cheer us on.
Apparently they don't get a lot of size 2T walkers, so Gavin was swimming in his shirt.
Gavin's first walk wouldn't be complete without a nap. Yes, he fell asleep about 1/2 way through the walk. The stroller was hot and uncomfortable so he wanted mom's shoulder.
Awww, you guys are so adorable. It's fabulous that you are dedicated to doing good and making a difference and that you're trying to instill such positive values in Gavin from the beginning. Looks like a fun event!
